Covid-19

  1. For the tax year 2020, for the safety and well being of our staff and clients, we will not be doing in office appointments unless absolutely necessary and they are allowed by law. All returns are preferred to be dropped off, emailed, mailed and/or ZOOM conferenced.
  2. We have a drop box slot located to the right of the front door below the window. It is available 24 hours per day. For drop box policies click here.
  3. Our staff have been told not to come to the office for work if they are sick, coughing or sneezing, or have a fever.
  4. Clients who come into the office to drop off paperwork must wear a mask at all times. Our front office staff have the discretion to question clients who appear to be sick and may ask them to leave or wait outside. Please forgive us for being extra careful for your safety and ours. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one for you.
  5. If practical, we will schedule meetings via telephone or ZOOM and encourage you to email documents using the encrypted client portal on the website.
  6. If you have an in-person meeting, you will be asked to self-certify that you are not sick and do not have a fever before coming in. You will be asked for a best contact number in case a contact tracing situation arises. Also should you test positive or are a close contact for COVID-19 after visiting our office, please contact us ASAP.
  7. Our waiting area will have limited seating at an appropriate distance from each other.
  8. For everyone’s safety, our staff will wipe down commonly touched surfaces including doorknobs every night as well as any other time deemed necessary.
